09:00 am, pick up from the cruise. A short drive from Katakolon will bring you to the ancient city of Olympia, dating back to more than a thousand years ago. Visit the archaeological site and see the Temples of Hera and Zeus, Council House, Shrine of Pelops, Treasury, Palaestra, Gymnasium, Guest House, Priest's House and the original Olympic Stadium with its stone starting line. Continue with a visit to the museum with its outstanding collection of impressive statues, pediments, sculptures and relieves from the Temple of Zeus, including the Victory of Paeonis. The exquisite statue of Hermes by the sculptor Praxiteles stands in a place of honor. Return back to the cruise around 14:00.
