How to choose
Start with the place, or start with the feeling
Some travelers arrive knowing exactly where: Istanbul and Cappadocia, the Amalfi Coast, Kyoto in cherry-blossom season. Others arrive with a feeling: a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary, a first safari, a golf week with friends, a honeymoon that should not feel like a package. Both are good starting points. The country pages below are organized by place; our travel styles are organized by feeling. Either way, what you book is the same: a private itinerary, built from scratch around your dates.
Turkey is where we started and where our depth is greatest: 25 years, a family in the trade for 70, and our own guides and drivers in Istanbul, Cappadocia and on the coast. From there we grew to the countries our guests asked for most: Greece and Italy as natural pairings, then Japan, Egypt, Morocco, East and Southern Africa, Peru, and the rest of the map. We only sell destinations we know well enough to run privately, which is why the list is curated rather than long.

Booking a private tour: common questions
Are your tours private or small-group?
Private, always. Every itinerary on this page is a starting point that we rebuild around your dates, pace and interests, with your own licensed guide and driver. We do not sell seats on scheduled group departures.
How far in advance should I book a luxury tour?
Six to nine months is ideal for peak season (April–June and September–October in Turkey and the Mediterranean; July–October for safari). The best boutique hotels and expert guides book out first. We can and do arrange trips on shorter notice, but the choice narrows.
Can I combine two or three countries in one trip?
Yes, and it is our specialty. Turkey and Greece, Italy and Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, Kenya and Tanzania with a beach finale: we design the route, handle every flight and ferry, and keep one point of contact throughout. See the Turkey & Greece 12-day journey for a worked example.
What is included in the price?
Typically: hand-picked hotels with breakfast, private guides and drivers, all entrance fees, internal flights or transfers as listed, and 24/7 support from our US and on-the-ground teams. International airfare, most lunches and dinners, tips and personal expenses are excluded unless stated. Each tour page lists its inclusions in full.
